How am I supposed to know
when to laugh, when to cry,
when to smile, when to lie?
Should I just guess
Should I assume
That I should always cry with you?

I was never proud of me
Please, tell me how I could
I’ve hidden when I should
Be showing off
It’s not enough
To always have to cry for you.

Am I supposed to keep my faith?
should I continue to believe
That all of this was meant for me?
Of course you should
When all is good
For once I’d like to smile with you.
